CAST UK is recruiting for a Logistics Team Supervisor to join a growing logistics business based in Warrington.

This is a hands-on supervisory position, working closely with the Logistics Team Manager and acting as their deputy when required. You’ll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly, supporting the team, managing customer expectations and ensuring deliveries are completed to a high standard.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operation, from initial booking through to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising a busy logistics office and daily network of drivers
• Managing inbound calls, bookings, quotes, customer queries and escalations
• Overseeing live deliveries and resolving issues quickly and effectively
• Balancing customer service, inbound sales and driver management
• Planning and managing capacity across drivers and subcontracted partners
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of local courier drivers
• Supervising customer-facing and driver-facing office teams
• Monitoring service levels, KPIs and customer satisfaction
• Deputising for the Logistics Team Manager when required

• Strong customer and driver management experience
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Confident communication skills
• Experience using TMS, dispatch or modern logistics systems
