Physiotherapy Job Description

• Speciality -Band 6 Postural Management OT/PT
• Location -Sunderland
• Start date – ASAP
• Contract length – Until 31/12/2026
• Pay rate – £25 per hour
• Working Pattern – Mon-Fri, 8am & 4.30pm usually 8:30 starts (Flexible with how many days they would do)

Specific Skills:

• ELMS2 experience for Wheelchair Services (desirable)
• Provide clinical input working with service users, families, carers, and MDT
• Carry out triage and clinical assessments (mobility, posture, pressure care)
• Prescribe, review, and set up equipment with service user involvement
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping
• Manage caseload effectively and use outcome measures
• Handle medical device management responsibilities
• Follow safeguarding procedures for vulnerable individuals
• Perform physical/postural assessments (bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.)
• Lift and handle wheelchairs and equipment daily
• Must have very good experience in Wheelchair

Requirements

• 2year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC Registered
