Contract Food Safety Inspector – Flexible Evening Inspections

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer for a Sussex public sector contract from July 2026 to February 2027. You will undertake around 100 food hygiene inspections (Categories C–E) across the Mid Sussex district, with some evening visits and clear reporting to maintain compliance with the FSA Code of Practice.

A Higher Certificate in Food Control (or equivalent) and proven inspection experience are required, along with a strong understanding of food
