Academics are recruiting on behalf of a ‘Good’ rated secondary school in Portsmouth for a full-time Design Technology Teacher to join their team from September.
The school is centrally located in Portsmouth and is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design Technology Teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities.

Full-time Design Technology teaching position
Start date: September
Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, teaching and assessment
Working with students across the secondary age range
Contributing to the wider life of the school and department
Working as part of a supportive and established team
The Ideal Candidate:
- QTS is essential
- Relevant experience teaching Design Technology
- Strong classroom management skills
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
- Passionate about supporting students’ progress and development
- Reliable, professional and committed
- DBS check required – an existing DBS or willingness to complete one
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy.
