We’re recruiting a Senior Night Care Assistant to join our Supported Housing for Older People service, working 28.5 hours per week.At Milton Keynes City Council, we’re committed to helping people live independently, safely and with dignity. Our Supported Housing for Older People service supports residents to remain in their own homes while receiving the care they need.Courteneys Lodge provides 32 self-contained flats with 24-hour Care Quality Commission registered domiciliary care for older people living with dementia. You’ll join a supportive team helping residents live independently in a safe and welcoming environment.This rewarding role is ideal for an experienced care professional who thrives at night, providing reassurance, support and high-quality care when it matters most.
As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you’ll lead the night shift, respond to emergencies, support colleagues and maintain accurate care records. You’ll play a key role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and well supported.
Site-Based role
This is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace.
Working Pattern
This role operates on a two-week rolling rota and consists of night shifts. The post is 28.5 hours per week working 3 x 9.5 hour shifts from 21.00-07.00hrsWeek 1: Night shifts on Wednesday and Thursday.Week 2: Night shifts on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This post attracts a Level 3 Annual Working Payment (AWP) in addition to the basic salary.
