Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for an immediate start? Do you enjoy a busy, hands-on role and working as part of a friendly warehouse team?
We are recruiting for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join a well-established company based in Baldock. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation and would suit someone with previous warehouse, distribution or logistics experience.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be involved in a range of general warehouse duties, ensuring orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately whilst helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
What You Will Be Doing
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Moving and replenishing stock around the warehouse
- Carrying out basic stock checks
- Labelling and packaging products
- Manual handling and general warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good team player with a flexible approach
- Available for an immediate start
