We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Bus/PSV Mechanic to join our friendly team at Stagecoach South Scotland. Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, This is your opportunity to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, supported by ongoing training as technology and vehicle systems continue to evolve.

What you’ll be doing:
n
n * Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standardsn * Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faultsn * Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairsn * Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experiencen * Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot team

What we’re looking for:
n
n * NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)n * Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehiclesn * A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detailn * A team player with good communication skillsn * Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)
