Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Plumbing and Heating Engineer role based in the Greater Oxford Area. The engineer will install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems, including pipes, fixtures, boilers, and related equipment in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, performing routine servicing, carrying out emergency repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards. The role involves attending scheduled appointments, completing accurate job documentation, and collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver projects efficiently. The engineer will also communicate with customers to explain work carried out, provide advice on system care, and maintain a professional, customer-focused service at all times.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong plumbing skills, including installation and repair of domestic and commercial systems. (Commercial not essential)
- Candidates should possess experience working with pipes, fittings, and associated materials, with sound knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, including fault-finding, servicing, and preventive upkeep of plumbing and heating equipment.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build positive client relationships.
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships in plumbing and heating (e.g., NVQ or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Experience with heating systems, boilers, and central heating controls, including safe operation and troubleshooting, is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel within the Greater Oxford Area for on-site appointments.
