The role:
.Collections and deliveries required (deliveries will be up to 5 stops and collections up to 15 stops) Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.. Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required. Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements: Full UK licence with Class 2 entitlement (CAT C). 6 months experience required. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
