Practice Accountant

A well-established accountancy practice near Wokingham is seeking an experiencedPractice Accountantto join their friendly team. This varied role supports both the accounts and tax departments, working with a portfolio of SME clients.

The salary for this role is up to 65,000 depending on experience. You will be fully officed based in the firms offices close to Wokingham.

Main responsibilities for the Practice Accountant role are:

• Accounts preparation (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105)
• Corporation Tax computations & CT600s
• Personal Tax Returns & VAT Returns
• Advising clients on salary/dividends
• Reviewing junior staff work & acting as main client contact

Skills required the Practice Accountant role are:

• Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant
• number of years proven experience working in practice
• Strong software knowledge (IRIS, Sage, Xero, FreeAgent etc.)
• Excellent communication, organisation & attention to detail
