Working as part of the school’s leadership and support team, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the smooth running of the school.

Core Responsibilities

  • Site & Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Lead on health and safety procedures, statutory compliance, risk assessments, fire safety and site inspections, ensuring all legal requirements are met.

  • Contractor & Project Management: Manage contractors, planned maintenance, procurement and site improvement projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the site and cleaning teams, promoting high standards of service and responding efficiently to the operational needs of the school.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in premises, facilities or site management, ideally within an educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, building maintenance and compliance.

  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage contractors, budgets and multiple priorities effectively.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the legal right to work in the UK.
