HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver Required!

RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Torquay, Devon.

Duration: Temporary

Start Date: 14-08-2026

Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.50 Per Hour – paid weekly!

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.

We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!

Job Roles:

• Carrying out multidrop deliveries across the local area
• Loading and unloading goods as required
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Ensuring compliance with drivers’ hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations
• Maintaining a safe and professional approach at all times

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• All relevant HGV qualifications and tickets
• Previous multidrop driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations

Start Date: Immediate Duration: Temporary Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.50 Per Hour Location: Torquay.

We do not charge Payroll Admin Fees or use Umbrella Companies to process your pay – so you get to keep more of your take home pay.
