Senior Building Official (Temporary) – Plan & Inspections

City of Kingston is seeking a Senior Building Official for a temporary role of up to 24 months. The position involves enforcing the Building Code Act and Ontario Building Code through plan reviews and inspections of diverse properties within the City.

The role reports to the Supervisor, Building Services and requires full-time hours for the duration of the assignment. The temporary rate may be adjusted and reviewed at year-end 2026.
