We are seeking an experienced medical secretary to become part of our acute paediatric secretarial team. Applicants would ideally have experience at Band 4 secretary level.
This team provides the highest quality administration and secretarial support and coordination to a large team of Acute Consultant Paediatricians. The department of acute paediatrics is particularly complex. Acute consultant paediatricians each have several generic and individual work-streams you will be required to manage paying greatest of attention to detail. Acute consultant paediatricians work out of hours on call, have regular periods of receiving across the Children’s Unit, Special Care Baby Unit and Labour Suite and operate general outpatient clinics as well as multiple specialist clinics.
Applicants should have excellent organisational skills with significant relevant experience as well as good communication skills, initiative and enthusiasm.
