Contract: One year, renewable for one year by mutual agreement
Worth Abbey is looking for an Organ Scholar to play for liturgies at Worth Abbey, to complement the offerings of the existing rota of highly-skilled and devoted professional organists.
They are seeking a highly motivated organist who is keen to develop their accompaniment and repertoire skills, particularly within the context of a Roman Catholic environment. It is envisaged that this position may best be suited to a postgraduate applicant, although applications from strong gap-year and undergraduate organists will be considered.
The position is available initially for one year (renewable for a further period of up to one year by mutual agreement).
The Abbey offers flexibility in terms of time off, where holidays can be arranged in advance. On-site accommodation in a shared environment is offered.
