Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturing company are looking for an experiencedBuyer to join their team. The successful candidate will join a busy purchasing team ensuring a steady supply of parts and materials for production are onsite.

The Role

• Work closely with suppliers to improve product availability
• Raise purchase orders with suppliers and track deliveries
• Identify cost saving opportunities for the business
• Analyse market trends to identify opportunities and risks within categories
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues
• Liaise within engineering and production team on purchasing requirements
• Attend production meetings and provide update on product status
• Other relevant duties

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 2 years (+) experience in a similar role
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
• Willingness to learn and succeed
• A positive can-do attitude
