Delivery Driver / Installer
We are currently recruiting for aDelivery Driver / Installer to join an established organisation based near Guildford, Surrey.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving driving, deliveries, installations and collections across Surrey. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working practically and providing a high level of customer service.
The role will include:
- Driving a company van to locations across Surrey
- Delivering and collecting a range of items
- Installing items at customer locations
- Loading and unloading goods, including some heavier items
- Carrying out basic installations, with some servicing and repair work where required
- Using basic DIY skills as part of installation work
- Providing excellent customer service while out on the road
- Participating in an out-of-hours and weekend rota
What we’re looking for:
- Previous relevant experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided
- A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years, with no more than 6 points
- Previous van driving experience would be beneficial
- Comfortable with a physically active role, including loading and unloading
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic DIY skills would be advantageous
- Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working independently
