Catering Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join the team at Leeds Beckett University’s Carnegie Sports School at the Headingley Campus.

Working Hours –

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

What We’re Looking For –

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Experience working in a fast-paced food service and coffee environment
• Confidence preparing and serving hot and cold food items
• Experience using Merrychef ovens
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliability and good timekeeping

Duties Will Include –

• Preparing and serving food and beverages
• Operating coffee machines
• Using Merrychef ovens to prepare food
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Working as part of a busy catering team during peak service periods
