Cnc Machinist

CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking an CNC MachinistFor our client based in Normanton, WF6.

We are looking for someone with the relevant experience in the following:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Cut and machine aluminium and ACM.
• Load and run CNC programmes.
• Read job sheets, drawings, and production files.
• Check finished components for accuracy and quality.
• Carry out basic machine checks and maintenance.
• Work to production deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures.

Skills:

• Previous CNC operating experience.
• Good understanding of CNC tooling and machining.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Practical problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and a good team player.
• Experience with aluminium or signmaking is an advantage.

Workinghours:

Early shift: Monday – Thursday, 7am – 3:30pm

Later shift: Monday – Thursday, 11am – 7:30pm

Friday, 7am – 3:30pm

Salary: 13 – 13.50 per hour (DOE)
