Transport Planner – Permanent Position

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client’s team in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The Role

The main responsibility of the role will be to coordinate and plan transport requirements, working closely with subcontracted couriers using the CX system.

The successful candidate will also be required to occasionally assist within the warehouse when needed, so a flexible and hands-on approach is essential.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous transport planning or logistics experience is preferred.
• FLT licence preferred, but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and an organised approach.
• Confident using computer systems, with experience of transport systems advantageous.
• Friendly, approachable and able to communicate effectively.
• A reliable team player who is willing to help where required.
• Flexible attitude and a willingness to support warehouse operations when necessary.
