Van Driver

Van Driver Hours: Monday to Friday 07.00 am

Location: Gloucester (GL2) Department: Transport / Operations Reporting To: Transport Manager / Depot Manager Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (PAYE)

Purpose of the Role

To deliver and collect tool hire and small plant equipment safely and efficiently using a company van, providing excellent customer service and complying with all health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company van safely and legally.
• Deliver and collect equipment from customer sites.
• Load, unload and secure equipment safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents or customer issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Category B Driving Licence.
• Previous van driving experience.
• Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle equipment safely.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
