We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join a leading national logistics operation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing work with competitive pay and regular shifts.
Working Pattern
Mixture of:
Sunday to Thursday and Monday to Friday. Shift pattern may vary from week to week depending on operational requirements however there will be the chance to set a preferred shift pattern in place after 2 months.
Night shifts with 5:00pm / 6:00pm starts
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for completing trunking and distribution work between depots and customer locations. You’ll ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
The role primarily involves driving with minimal manual handling, although some duties may vary depending on the route.
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations
Flexible approach to working different weekly shift patterns
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
