An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive team while working with a varied portfolio of clients.The RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns.
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts.
- Supporting audit assignments, including fieldwork where required.
- Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong working relationships.
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide a high standard of service.
- Working alongside senior team members to ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified.
- Good working knowledge of Xero.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
