4C Strategies is an independent IT consultancy witha strong reputationacross the UK public sector. As demand for cyber security advice continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a Cyber SecurityLeadto drive and expand our Cyber Security services across public and private sector clients.

4C already provides Cyber Security advisory services and is currently an NCSCAssured Service Provider (Cyber Advisor), with ambitions to become an NCSC Cyber Resilience Audit (CRA) provider. This role will play a key part in strengthening our market position, increasing client uptake, and expanding our cyber footprint.

This is a senior, commercially driven leadership role, suited to a candidate with a track record of winning new business, developing client relationships and growing cyber service lines.

The Role

This is a senior, influential role combining cyber leadership, client advisorydeliveryand commercial responsibility.

The Cyber Security Lead will:

  • Lead and evolve 4Cs Cyber Security advisory offering

  • Own the cyber strategy, serviceroadmapand commercial plan

  • Drive sales, pipelineownership anddevelopment,and market visibility

  • Act as a senior cyber advisor to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Be familiar with public sectorframeworks, routes to market andThe Procurement Act 2023

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Services & Strategy

  • Define and refine the Cyber Security services offered by 4C

  • Own the cyber strategy,roadmapand business plan

  • Define and manage routes to market and frameworkbids and responses

  • Ensure services align with NCSC guidance and market expectations

  • Act as the senior authority for cyber matters within 4C

  • Support progression towards NCSC Cyber Resilience Audit(CRA) providerstatus

Client Advisory & Delivery

  • Lead and delivercyber engagements includingNCSC CAF and Cyber Essentials assessments

  • Develop cyber security strategies,roadmapsand improvement plans

  • Providetrusted cyber advice to senior leaders and boards

  • Translate cyber risk into clear, pragmatic, business-focused guidance

  • Lead executive briefings,workshopsand assurance activities

Sales, Growth & Marketing

  • Be accountable for growing the Cyber Security pipeline and revenue

  • Identify,qualifyand pursue new opportunities across public and private sectors

  • Actively network and represent 4C in the market, being comfortable with public speaking

  • Work with the marketing team to shape and deliver cyber campaigns

  • Lead cyber elements of bids,proposalsand client presentations

Reputation, People & Capability

  • Build 4Cs reputation as a trusted Cyber Security Advisor

  • Mentor consultants contributing to cyber delivery

  • Define repeatable delivery approaches and high-quality outputs

  • Support internal capability development as the service grows

WhatWereLooking For

  • Strong experience in cyber security advisory and consulting

  • Proven delivery of cyber services for public sector clients

  • Demonstrable ability to win work andactivelygrow pipeline

  • Comfortable operating at board and delivery level

  • Certificationcommensuratewith level of experience,e.g.UK CSCPrincipal or Chartered,(Audit and Assurance),CIISecFull Member or Fellow

  • In-depth knowledge of NCSC CAF, CyberEssentials,cybergovernanceand adjacent standards such as NISTCSF, ISO27001and DSPT.
