About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to lead the operational, financial and administrative functions of a busy NHS GP practice in Brighton & Hove.
n
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving service improvement, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the long-term success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the operational, financial and administrative management of the practice
- n
Support and manage both clinical and non-clinical teams
- n
Ensure compliance with NHS contractual, regulatory and governance requirements
- n
Oversee practice performance, budgeting and financial management
- n
Drive quality improvement and service development initiatives
- n
Manage workforce planning, recruitment and staff development
- n
Develop and maintain effective operational policies and procedures
- n
Build strong relationships with patients, staff and external stakeholders
- n
Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred services

What We're Looking ForEssential

Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior healthcare management role
- n
Strong leadership and people management skills
- n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- n
Experience managing operational and financial performance
- n
Good understanding of NHS Primary Care and regulatory requirements
- n
Ability to lead service improvement and organisational change
- n
Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills

Desirable

Previous experience within an NHS GP Practice
- n
Experience with NHS contracts, CQC compliance and Primary Care Networks

Knowledge of GP practice finance and workforce planning
