Bracknell based my client is seeking a skilled
HGV Class 2 Driver for the Winter period.
In this vital role, youll help protecting protect communities and keeping essential infrastructure running smoothly. Working as part of a two-person crew, youll be at the front line of drainage operations, from drain cleaning and clearance to repair and maintenance work. Using specialised vehicles and equipment, you’ll help ensure that water flows freely through drainage systems, helping to prevent flooding, minimise disruption, and support a healthier environment. This is a seasonal role, zero hours with standby while you are on call.
The duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver
role will include:
Carrying out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.Responding promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.Supporting planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems as part of routine operations or urgent interventions.Accurately recording and reporting all work carried out, including identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow-up.Using our app-based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos/videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.What skills and experience do you need?
