As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
- Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
- Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
- Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
- Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
- Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
- Be able to travel throughout the Helsby and Runcorn areas
- Be available to work on a flexible basis, primarily Thursday to Sunday
- Have a caring, compassionate and reliable approach
- Driving is preferred for this role due to the nature of community-based care.
