Facilities, Support & Maintenance Officer

We’re looking for a practical, pro‑active and reliable Facilities, Support & Maintenance Officer to join our small but busy Support Service team. You’ll help us to make our offices a safe and welcoming environment for colleagues and stakeholders and tenants to be in.

What you’ll do

• Key holder responsibilities including setting alarms, opening/ closing buildings and support/ response to contractor callout requests/ emergencies, as required
• Providing access assistance and direction to visitors and contractors
• Assisting with building evacuations when needed
• Support site relocation plans and assisting with office moves
• Assisting Property Services with basic day to day, general property and garden upkeep and hands‑on property maintenance tasks.
• Scheduled/daily walk around to ensure housekeeping and general maintenance is in order, including attending to meeting room bookings
• Inventory/ checks, order placing, administration tasks including processing invoices for payment, unpacking/ unloading, storage and stock reviews.
• Support with gritting and making safe all access points to buildings.
• General Postroom activities including inward/ outward/ sorting of post and packages, liaising with couriers and recycling packaging.
• Assisting with collecting income and paperwork from other CBC sites as well as processing and banking
• On occasion, assist with daytime cleaning tasks
