Traveling Deaf Education Teacher – Inclusion and Support

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a Peripatetic Teacher of the Deaf for the Western Isles. This permanent post covers 21 hours per week and includes a salary of £27,828–£34,470 per annum, inclusive of £1,798 Distant Islands Allowance. The role involves collaboration with schools to support pupils with additional support needs in deaf education.

The successful candidate must have a degree or diploma in Teaching, GTC Scotland Registration, and driving licence. PVG scheme membership is required.
