We’re recruiting for a Yard Person / Delivery Driver in Burgess Hill. This varied role combines driving, yard work and general maintenance, with machinery and parts deliveries across the local area.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading and securing machinery
• Driving 3.5T flatbed vans for deliveries and collections
• General grounds maintenance and yard upkeep
• Vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Moving stock and completing delivery paperwork
• Basic assembly and customer assistance
• General tasks including painting, sweeping and drain clearance

What we’re looking for

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous driving or delivery experience
• Trailer towing experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility for occasional early starts or later finishes
• Horticultural, agricultural or construction experience would be beneficial
• Forklift licence advantageous
