MULTI-TRADE / MULTI-SKILLED WORKERS REQUIRED
Waterside & Associates Ltd is an established contractor specialising in housing adaptations, accessibility improvements, bathroom and kitchen installations and associated building works.
A significant proportion of our work is undertaken on behalf of local authorities and involves adapting people’s homes to improve accessibility, safety and independence.
We are looking to recruit experienced, reliable and professional Multi-Trade / Multi-Skilled Workers to undertake bathroom, wet-room, kitchen and specialist housing adaptation projects across South London and surrounding areas.
The Role
The position involves carrying out high-quality installation, refurbishment and adaptation works, predominantly within occupied residential properties.
Typical works include:
- Complete bathroom installations and refurbishments;
- Wet-room and level-access shower installations;
- Kitchen installations and adaptations;
- Plumbing and sanitary ware installation;
- Carpentry and associated joinery;
- Wall and floor tiling;
- Flooring and floor preparation;
- Installation of shower screens and enclosures;
- Installation of shower seats, grab rails and other adaptation equipment;
- Basic plastering, making good and finishing;
- Associated general building and adaptation works.
Multi-Trade Skills
We are looking for genuinely multi-skilled tradespeople who are competent across several trades.
Applicants do not need to be specialists in every individual trade. However, they should have sufficient experience and practical ability to undertake a substantial proportion of a bathroom, wet-room or kitchen installation independently and to a good professional standard.
Previous experience of disabled adaptations, accessible bathrooms, wet rooms or local-authority housing works would be particularly advantageous, although this is not essential where an applicant can demonstrate strong transferable multi-trade experience.
