—————————————-The Role As a PLC Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of a live TwinCAT 3 PLC platform used on industrial equipment across the UK.You’ll develop new software, improve existing control systems, commission equipment, fault-find on live systems and work closely with electrical, process and software engineers.This is a long-term product development role where you’ll see your software running on real-world industrial equipment.
—————————————-Key Responsibilities Develop TwinCAT 3 Structured Text softwareWrite PLC logic, sequences, alarms and interlocksCommission industrial control systemsDiagnose and resolve faults remotely and on-siteSupport and improve existing PLC softwareWork closely with electrical, process and software engineersProduce and maintain technical documentation
