MNRecruit is delighted to be helping hire a Senior Consultant – Nature, Ecology & Biodiversity for a growing consultancy in London.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced ecology professional looking to take on meaningful work across biodiversity, nature and development projects, while playing an important role within a growing team.
The role includes:
• Leading ecology and biodiversity projects
• PEAs, BNG assessments, BREEAM ecology reports and protected species work
• BNG calculations using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
• UKHab, PEA and bat surveys
• Biodiversity mapping using QGIS
• Technical report writing and QA
• Client and stakeholder management
• Training and mentoring junior colleagues
• Supporting wider nature and sustainability projects
Were looking for someone with:
• Strong ecology/biodiversity consultancy experience
• A relevant scientific degree
• Good knowledge of BNG and the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
• Proficiency in QGIS
• Experience with PEAs, BNG and BREEAM ecology assessments
• Bat survey and protected species experience
• Full CIEEM membership
• Strong report writing and project management skills
• A genuine interest in delivering positive outcomes for nature
