Sales Advisor
Red Recruitment is recruiting a motivated Sales Advisor to join a growing specialist insurance business in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sales experience who wants to build a career in financial services. You do not need insurance experience – full training, ongoing development and support towards professional qualifications will be provided.
You’ll speak with potential customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable life insurance products within a supportive, high-performing sales environment.
Benefits and Package for a Sales Advisor:
- Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum + uncapped commission
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
- One late shift per week, 12pm-8pm
- One Saturday per month, 9am-1pm
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Aztec West, Bristol

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Advisor:
- Speak with potential customers and understand their circumstances
- Build rapport and deliver a consultative sales experience
- Explain products clearly and recommend suitable options
- Respond confidently to questions and objections
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Meet sales targets while acting in the customer’s best interests
- Complete ongoing product and sales training
Key Skills and Experience of a Sales Advisor:
- Previous sales experience, ideally in a telephone-based or target-driven role
- Ambitious, motivated and keen to develop
- Confident communication and active listening skills
- A positive, professional and customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn about financial services products
