The RoleThis is not a reporting role. As Finance Business Partner, you will be the trusted finance voice to a senior commercial leadership team – challenging, influencing and shaping strategy at Director level. You will translate complex financial insight into clear commercial recommendations, drive performance across a significant business area and play a central role in long-term planning and investment decisions.
The Ideal CandidateOur client sets the bar extremely high, and we are looking for the very best the market has to offer:* Exceptional academic background – strong A Levels and a high-calibre degree* ACA or CIMA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm* Demonstrable commercial finance experience gained within a FTSE-listed business, major retailer or similarly large and complex organisation* A true business partner – someone who influences and challenges, not just reports* Outstanding commercial acumen with the gravitas and credibility to engage at the most senior levels* High drive, ambition and clear upward trajectory – this is a role with exceptional career development attached to it* Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and tell a compelling story with numbers
