We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, an reputable automotive specialist garage located in Swanley. The Vehicle Technician position provides a competitive salary package and a range of additional benefits designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.
Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:
- Salary between 45,000 and 50,000 per annum, with potential to increase through performance-based bonuses
- Uncapped bonus structure starting at 10%, based on productivity and hours sold
- Working hours from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am to 2.30pm on Fridays
- 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- Access to the workshop for personal vehicles, including family cars
- Use of workshop facilities at leisure, including the opportunity to participate in company track days at venues such as Brands Hatch
- Parts provided at cost price
- Contribution to a government pension scheme
Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct servicing and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform suspension work, electrical testing, and general mechanical repairs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support the team in vehicle inspections and quality control processes
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a solid work history
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in suspension, servicing, and general repairs
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for working on vehicles and delivering top-quality service
- A valid work permit, if applicable
- Professional attitude with excellent attention to detail
