CNC Turner (Sliding Head)

Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd are a successful busy Sub Contract Engineering Company andare looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator, offering excellent rates of pay to the right candidate.

Job Description

• Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes
• Workingto tight tolerances
• Producing high precision batch workcomponents anywhere from 50 offto 1000s off.
• Setting and Operatingusing Fanuc Controls
• Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials
• Operating and setting on New and upto date machinery

Skills Required

• Setting and Operating CNC Fixed or Sliding headLathes experience
• (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings
• Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.

200 hours holiday per year (23days)+ Statutory holidays

Every 3 years service 10 hours holiday added.

4 Day Week

Working 40 hours per week Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pmnoon
