Our client, a global law firm, is actively recruiting for a professional and enthusiastic individual to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as a Paralegal in their Transactional Shipping team, focusing on Completion Services.
n
n
You'll be part of the wider Transactional Shipping department and will be a Fee-Earner with your time records for each file you work on. This role will also give you the opportunity to have direct contact with clients across the globe.
n
n
As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
n
n
– Drafting transactional documents
n
– Assisting in the collation of Know Your Client (KYC) documentation
n
– Preparing transactional bibles and coordinating the collection/distribution of important documents
n
– Conducting extensive legal research
n
– Liaising with third parties (for example, ship and aircraft registries)
n
– Assisting Lawyers and senior staff with administrative tasks when required
n
n
Plus much more.

To be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
n
n
– Have a completed LLB or GDL (2:1 or equivalent, minimum)
n
– Have previous Paralegal experience (ideally within Transactional Shipping, although this is not essential)
n
– Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
n
– Be open to and keen on developing a strong and long-term career within Transactional Shipping
n
