Chalk Hill Group are supporting an established distribution business, based near Gatwick, who are looking to appoint an experienced Fractional Finance Director on an initial 3–6 month contract. This is a hands-on finance leadership role, ideal for an experienced FD or strong FC who enjoys being close to the detail and making a tangible impact.
Working around two days per week, you will take responsibility for a range of core finance activities, including:
- Financial reporting and management information
- Strengthening financial controls and processes
- Cash flow forecasting and management
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Supporting the wider finance function and improving efficiencies
- Mentoring and developing a more junior member of the finance team
- Providing hands‑on financial leadership and support to the business
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced Finance Director, Financial Controller or similar
- Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, SME environment
- Experience in Distribution or Logistics sector
This role is inside IR35.
