Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to provide two weeks’ holiday cover on a scheme in Abingdon.

Key Duties

• Setting out piles accurately in accordance with drawings and site control.
• Checking line and level of columns.
• Carrying out general setting out and surveying duties as required.
• Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
• Liaising with the Site Manager and subcontractors to resolve any engineering issues.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects.
• Strong setting-out experience, particularly piling and structural works.
• Competent using total station/surveying equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Able to work independently and confidently cover the engineering requirements on site for the two-week period.
