RG Set Square are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a short-term refurbishment project in Huddersfield.

Working on a series of night shifts, you will be responsible for managing a transport building refurbishment project, overseeing M&E contractors, groundworkers and demolition operatives while ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with the project programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and supervision of site operations during night shifts.
• Coordinating M&E contractors, groundworkers and demolition teams.
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and site compliance.
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS.
• Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Monitoring site progress and reporting to the project team.
• Ensuring all works are undertaken in line with safe systems of work.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment or construction projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification.
• GCAT4+ / CAT & Genny qualification is essential. The successful candidate will be required to oversee groundworks activities, ensuring utility avoidance procedures are followed and a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
