Job Description of Telecoms Civil Engineer / Civil Operative / Civil ganger:
-CivilsOperatives perform various tasks, movingmaterials and tools, setting up signs and safety barriers.
– Reinstatement, excavation, backfill compaction,tarmac, kerbs, slabs.
– Paving & garden works
-Execute and overseerodding, roping, duct / subduct installations and cable pulling across Virgin Mediaunderground networks.
– Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Key Requirements of Telecoms Civils Engineer/ Civil Operative / Civil ganger
– Telecoms civils experience
– Physically fit
– One engineer in a two man team must have a NRSWA streetworks certificate
– One engineer in a two man team must have a full UK driving Licence.
Telecoms Civilengineer physical requirements:
-The ability to lift objects regularly
– The ability to bend and stretch with comfort
– The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
