A Painter & Decorator is required, working for a reputable local contractor in partnership with a local council. The role will involve carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance across social housing properties. Candidates should be capable of completing all aspects of painting and decorating to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service to residents. Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is preferable.
Daily responsibilities:
- Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works on occupied properties
- Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping and making good prior to decoration
- Providing a high level of customer service to residents and housing officers
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements of a Painter & Decorator:
- Must have previous social housing, voids or domestic maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
