HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the recruitment of a Group Finance Reporting Manager. This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to strengthen their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established finance team in a key leadership role within the department, working closely with the Group Financial Controller.
About the job:
- Take ownership of the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation activities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of Group and statutory financial statements.
- Lead and develop an established financial reporting team, ensuring a high standard of delivery.
- Drive improvements to reporting processes across the Group, creating greater consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee regular reporting requirements for senior stakeholders, providing clear insight into financial performance and key areas of focus.
- Lead the Group’s forecasting and planning processes, ensuring robust and accurate financial information is available to support decision-making.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors and coordinate the Group audit process.
- Provide technical accounting guidance across the Group, including the preparation of supporting documentation for key accounting judgements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and wider commercial planning across the business.
- Contribute to financial modelling, due diligence and other strategic finance projects.
- Work closely with other areas of the finance function on tax, compliance and wider reporting requirements.
- Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulation and best practice.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting across the finance function.
About you:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA qualified
- Manufacturing background advantageous
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to support strategic decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
