Experienced Removals & Delivery Driver

SMLX Freight is looking for an experienced Removals & Delivery Driver to support our growing removals and transport operations across London and surrounding areas.

Tasks

We are looking for someone reliable, professional and experienced who takes pride in providing a high standard of service. Frequent work is available, with the opportunity to become a regular part of the SMLX team

Previous professional removals and/or delivery experience is essential

• Full UK driving licence
• Good driving record
• Confident and experienced driving commercial vans, including Luton-style vehicles
• Experience safely loading, securing and handling furniture and appliances
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling and lifting duties
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Good customer service and communication skills

Requirements

• Driving company-provided or approved vehicles for removals and delivery jobs
• Loading and unloading furniture, boxes, appliances and other household or commercial items
• Safely securing goods for transport
• Checking items against job information before departure
• Communicating professionally with customers throughout the job
• Reporting any damage, delays or issues immediately
• Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and presentable
• Working alongside other SMLX team members on larger jobs
