Class 2 Driver/ Warehouse

We are currently recruiting for areliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 licence for our client based in Horsham .

This is a primarily warehouse:based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands:on work but is also happy to step into a driving role when required. You’ll support the transport team by covering delivery routes during holidays and absence, helping maintain excellent service to customers .

The job will involve

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
• Supporting stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
• Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover when required (local multi:drop routes)
• Loading vehicles safely and completing delivery paperwork
• Delivering a professional, customer:focused service at all times

The ideal candidate will posess the below .

• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Flexible approach : happy to work mainly in the warehouse with occasional driving duties to cover as required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team:focused attitude
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Valid Forklift licences (Counterbalance and/or Reach would be useful but training can be provided)
