Strategic Head of HR Operations & Advice

Walsall Council is seeking an experienced HR leader to join the HR and OD Leadership Team as Head of Service – HR Operations and Advice. This senior role provides strategic direction for HR advisory, employee relations, and workforce services to improve outcomes for staff, services and residents.

You will lead service transformation, use data and digital tools, build strong relationships with senior leaders and unions, and ensure legal compliance and customer-focused delivery.
