Software Quality / Automation Test Analyst

• Contract: 1 Year (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site in London, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, or other hubs)
• Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Automation / Test Analyst to drive end-to-end quality assurance on large-scale transformation projects. You will work within Agile teams alongside Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to design, execute, and maintain automated and manual testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Delivery: Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and E2E test cases.
• Automation: Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Agile Integration: Participate in sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, and UAT support.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track bugs through to resolution, ensuring traceability.
• Reporting & Compliance: Generate quality metrics for stakeholders and ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.

Key Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience: Proven track record in QA/Automation roles within large-scale Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
• Automation (Desirable): Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Technical (Desirable): SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud/Data projects.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and client-facing adaptability.
