New Cook Position in Glasgow!

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can learn new skills and deliver great food? Are you experienced in catering and managing dietary requirements?

The role of a chef/cook within our Carntyne Gardens development is more than just cooking. You will be working with our team to provide a high quality of life for those that need it.
n
Hours of employment is 28 hours a week.
n
Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
n
Week 2 – Monday , Friday , Saturday and sunday – 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
n
30 Minutes unpaid break.
n
You will be –
n
- n
- Responsible for the provision of a flexible meals service, offering high quality, freshly prepared meals and value for money to tenants in a retirement housing service.
- Assisting with the ordering, purchasing and storing of food commodities working within the food budget.
- Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and where appropriate outside regulators are met and actively promote such standards within the development.
