Automation SCADA Engineer
Location:Newport, South Wales
Salary:40k-70k + Bonus + Pension
Automation SCADA Engineerrequired by a successful engineering company delivering complex process automation projects across the UK and internationally!
This is a varied, hands-on role working across the full project lifecycle, from requirements and system design through PLC/SCADA development, testing and commissioning to final handover. You’ll work on technically interesting automation projects rather than being tied to the maintenance of a single site.
Essential:
- 3+ years PLC/SCADA programming experience
- Dairy industry automation experience
- Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB 800xA, Schneider/Modicon, Mitsubishi, Wonderware and/or WinCC
- Experience of testing and commissioning automation systems
- Strong customer communication skills
Nice to have:
- ISA S88 and/or S95
- FDS writing
- MES experience
- Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning
